*Seeking a WordPress Developer*

We couldn’t be more excited to announce we’ve recently just won the Ignition Fund for 2019 for our calendar and booking plugin we are creating for small-medium sized businesses to book appointments online affordably from their own website!

Any business that provides a bookable service or puts on events needs to have an online presence in order to stay relevant and competitive. The days of calling to book an appointment or paying at the door are becoming obsolete as people become more accustomed to instant, automated and easy booking and planning. We were inspired to create getbooking, a Calendar and Booking solution that has:

– Attractive, modern design that’s easy to use
– Essential features to sell services online
– Affordable to small and medium business owners
– Excellent customer service

Any business owner that offers a service can essentially use getbooking. Whether it’s a tour company, escape rooms, yoga studio, or event facilitator, if their customers are booking a day/time to engage with the service, then getbooking will work for them.

Our booking software will enable small businesses to have an affordable, modern solution to appointment booking that will improve sales and decrease no shows.

We are looking for someone knowledgeable and experienced in basic web development, particularly with WordPress, to assist with the development and maintenance of the plugin, and be the lead tech support for any issues that may come up. You will also need to occasionally help with the QA and testing of the plugin, particularly with new features/releases.

Position is part-time (20 hours a week) for a 4-6 months contract, with the potential to evolve into full time for the right candidate. This job can be done remotely. Please check the link below for more info on applying!
