FAQs
We offer industry experience, down-to-earth & authentic feedback and conversations, and a passion for all things design & web.
How much does a website cost in PEI?
Every project is different, so we don't have set prices. The cost depends on the number of pages, features like online stores, event calendars or member portals, and whether you also need branding, copywriting or photography. Share your project scope or book a quick call and we'll give you an indication of the cost and timeline.
How long does it take to build a website?
Timelines depend on the size & specs of the website project, but here are some general guidelines...
Shopify projects usually take around 4-8 weeks.
WordPress projects usually take a minimum of 6-8 weeks.
Logo Design usually takes a minimum of 3 weeks.
Do you only work with businesses in Charlottetown?
Not at all. We work with clients right across Prince Edward Island, from Charlottetown and Summerside to rural communities, as well as clients across Canada. Projects run smoothly remotely with Zoom, Slack and Asana.
Can you build a bilingual English and French website?
Yes. We've built bilingual websites for clients like the Fall Flavours Food & Drink Festival, Canada's Food Island and Roma at Three Rivers. Websites we build can also use Lake Translate, our own translation plugin powered by Google's translation APIs. It covers dozens of languages, creates real translated pages (like /fr/) that Google can index, makes it easy to fix any translation by hand, and is included at no extra cost on most sites. Read more about bilingual websites.
Will my new website show up on Google?
Every site we build follows SEO best practices: fast loading, mobile-friendly, a clear page structure, descriptive titles and image alt text. We also help you set up Google Search Console and your Google Business Profile so you can see how people find you. No one can honestly guarantee rankings, but we give your site the strongest possible foundation.
Do you redesign existing websites?
Of course! We will take a look at your current website and outline what we think needs improving. We will compare your site to industry-leading competitors, share inspiration with you, and give you a plan of action.
Can I update the website myself?
Yes. We build every website so you can edit and update it yourself without worrying about breaking the design, and we include training before launch so your team feels confident from day one.
Do you offer hosting and ongoing support?
We do. We offer optional hosting, maintenance and support plans, with requests handled through our support system, so your site stays secure, backed up and up to date.
