Fall Flavours Food & Drink Festival
We had the pleasure of being intimately involved with the Fall Flavours Food and Drink Festival on Prince Edward Island, a celebration of taste, tradition, and innovation. Our involvement in this vibrant festival spanned various creative and strategic domains including redesigning the website and handling all of the design and marketing both in 2023 and 2024.
Project Details
Fall Flavours is PEI’s premier culinary festival: three weeks of signature events, chef experiences and local food and drink across Canada’s Food Island. With dozens of ticketed events spread across the Island each fall, the website needed to do more than look delicious. We rebuilt fallflavours.ca as a bilingual, mobile-first platform that helps visitors discover events, plan their trip and buy tickets in a few taps, while giving the festival team an easy way to publish each year’s lineup.

Events Calendar
The heart of the site is a custom events calendar that brings the full festival lineup into one place. Visitors can switch between schedule, calendar and map views, filter by day or by featured ingredient, from lobster and oysters to beef and potatoes, and see prices, locations and sold-out events at a glance. Each signature event gets its own page with highlights, menus, venue details and a direct link to tickets.

Trip Planner
To help visitors turn a festival event into a full Island getaway, we built an interactive trip planner. Guests can browse restaurants, accommodations, signature events and culinary adventures, add them to a personal itinerary on the map, see their total driving time, and save their trip to come back to later.

Bilingual & Mobile-First
With festival-goers coming from across Canada and beyond, every page is available in English and French through Lake Translate, our in-house translation plugin, with dedicated French pages that Google can index. The whole experience is designed for phones first, so visitors can check event details, get directions and buy tickets on the go, right from the event they’re standing at.
