Every language counts. A 500-word page in French and Spanish uses 1,000 words. Allowances reset on the 1st of each month.

Does it work with my website?
Lake Translate works on WordPress sites. We'll check how it works with your site during setup.
Which languages can I choose?
French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Chinese (Simplified), Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew, Hindi, Turkish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Greek, Czech, Ukrainian, Vietnamese and Thai.
Is it as good as a professional translator?
AI translation works well for everyday website content, but it isn't a replacement for a professional translator on legal, medical or other high-stakes text. We recommend having a fluent speaker review your most important pages. Any corrections can be made right on the page.
Can I change a translation?
Yes. While logged in, click the pencil beside the text, type your version and save. Your correction stays in place.
Can search engines find my translated pages?
Yes. Each language has its own pages, with translated titles and descriptions, and search engines are told which version suits which language. As with any page, we can't guarantee where it will rank.
What happens when I add or change content?
New and changed text is translated automatically the first time that page is opened in each language. There's nothing extra for you to do.
What uses my monthly words?
Only new or changed text, counted once for each language. Visitors reading saved translations don't use any words, no matter how many you have.
What if I use all my words?
Your existing translations keep showing. New or changed text stays in its original language until your words reset on the 1st, or until you move to a bigger plan.
What happens if I cancel?
Translations already on your site keep showing, but new or changed text won't be translated.
Do I need a Google account?
No. Lake Design takes care of the connection for you.
